Gigio Donnarumma’s contract with Milan will expire at the end of the season and there have been many rumours about a potential replacement today. However, the Rossoneri still want to renew their star.
MilanTV pundit Mauro Suma, who’s closely affiliated with the club, decided to share an update on Twitter as the rumours started to spread. ‘Stay calm’, he wrote, as he also confirmed that Milan ‘are not’ looking for a replacement.
calma…non lanciamoci nelle solite speculazioni…da quanto mi risulta, Il Club sta lavorando per convincere Gigio a restare con noi…non stiamo cercando altri portieri.

Instead, the Rossoneri are working hard to convince Donnarumma and his agent Mino Raiola, who knows the value of his client. It remains to be seen if an agreement can be reached before the end of the season.
It seems unlikely, however, that Donnarumma would accept to head into the Euros without knowing his future at Milan. In the meantime, though, he will have to remain focused on the final games of the season (just 10 to go).
