Theo Hernandez’s agent has continued to insist that he has not heard from AC Milan for several months, according to a report.
A report from La Gazzetta dello Sport yesterday claimed that the Milan directors used the trip to Madrid for the Champions League game against Real to meet Theo’s representative Manuel Garcia Quilon.
They spoke of a positive discussion in which both sides reiterated a desire to find an agreement over a contract extension and continue together, even if there is some work to be done on the salary side of things.
However, Calciomercato.com claim that they have questioned Quilon about the story and he instead continues to reiterate the position expressed in recent months, namely that ‘the last contacts with Milan date back to several months ago’.
Therefore, at present, there can be ‘no talk of a negotiation on the figures and duration of a possible new agreement’. It is described as a ‘chess game’ that is ‘experiencing a stalemate’ and with an outcome that currently appears to be ‘complicated to resolve’.
In the meantime, the Frenchman is struggling to find form as he continues to make errors. This has led to suggestions Paulo Fonseca might replicate the Rafael Leao treatment by benching him, which surely wouldn’t help the extension talks.
Good, tell your client nobody likes a duche jk tell your client to earn it mfer

My guess is this has something to do with this contract situation. If they’d just taken care of this in the summer, whether an extension or a sale, like a proper club would have done, we wouldn’t be in this situation where such a valuable player is underperforming and there is the chance he’d leave at a cut rate in the summer. The self-inflicted wounds need to stop. He should have been renewed or sold this past summer.
