Three key AC Milan players at risk of being suspended for Napoli clash

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are at risk of being without three key players for the game against Napoli due to potential suspensions, according to a report.

Despite the direct red card he got against Inter in the league, Theo Hernandez is still at risk of being disqualified for the trip to the Diego Armando Maradona because of the yellow cards he has accrued. This is because according to the regulations the straight red card does not remove the yellow cards received in previous matches, so a yellow against Udinese would get him a one-game ban.

The full-back is not the only one at risk of being suspended, because there are two other players who are on four yellow cards for the season, one of whom is Alessio Romagnoli after he was booked against Salernitana.

Then there is the playmaker Brahim Diaz who is also now sat on four yellow cards, so Pioli could do without missing part of the spine of his starting XI.
