CIES: Three Milan stars make list of 100 most valuable players in world football

AC Milan have three players in the top 100 most valuable in world football at present, with nine of them coming from Serie A.

The third Milan name on the list is Sandro Tonali who is valued at €52m by the CIES Football Observatory, which ranks the valuations of players on a number of factors such as age, potential and also their contractual situation.

Straight after him is Theo Hernandez, with the left-back coming in at €66.8m, and leading the way is Rafael Leao who is worth €67.3m are per the study. The trio are part of the nine Serie A players in the top 100 most valuable in world football.

The other names on the list include Lautaro Martinez, Alessandro Bastoni and Nicolo Barella of Inter, Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus, Tammy Abraham of AS Roma and Giacomo Raspadori of Napoli. As expected, the Premier League strongly leads the way in terms of the others in the top 100.

    1. Well goalkeeper tend to have lower market price than outfield player. And defender price lower than offensive player. That’s why if you have 100 most expensive footballer is dominated with forward and midfield.

    1. yooo, red and black for life but barella is pure class, wanted him from way back in cagliari colours but respect to shinter for acting fast… still, tonali is his vaccine so issa fair trade coz our boy is the best at what he does, which is def not what barella does.

  1. Theo is the one of if not the best left back in the world. Position-wise he’s one of a very few and should be valued higher, closer to 100m imo. Tonali for instance has many great players in that role.

  2. Silly list. Leao is the best player in the league. He’s the only player worth over €100 million (because Osimhen is injury prone).
