AC Milan and Strasbourg are in talks over defender Mohamed Simakan, a report claims, but two Premier League sides are ready to provide competition.
Widespread reports have claimed over the past few days that Milan are negotiating with the Ligue 1 side over a fee for Simakan after journalist Ekrem Konur confirmed to us that an agreement has been reached over a five-year deal with the player.
According to TMW, the close contacts between the Rossoneri and Strasbourg have continued and it is true that the valuation has a range between €15-20m, with the two clubs negotiating to find a meeting point.
In the last few hours, however, the interest of two Premier League teams has been revealed – Wolverhampton and Everton – both looking for a reinforcement for their rearguard. The English clubs are pressing for an agreement, even if the player currently would prefer the Rossoneri.
