Sandro Tonali left AC Milan almost two years ago now, but the Italian still keeps the Rossoneri in his heart.
There are few players in recent years who have captured the hearts and minds of Milan fans like Tonali has and did. Even now, two years on from his departure, the midfielder is still a heavily discussed topic.
For many, the dream is that he returns one day. Hopefully sooner rather than later, and when he does, the desire is that he captains the Rossoneri.
Of course, there are many factors that come into play with a potential return, such as Newcastle United’s interest in a sale, and other clubs interested in the Italian star. However, there remains that hope of a homecoming at some point.
This week, the midfielder sat down to speak to the Newcastle media channels, and his move to and from the Diavolo were discussed, and Radio Rossonera have transcribed his words.
“My father and I are Milan fans, my mother was only at Inter because of her family. In 2019 she changed teams and my whole family supports Milan. When I went to Milan for my father it was fantastic, it was his dream and mine too.
“After three years I tried to change my life for football, in Italy I won a trophy after 11 years and it was fantastic. I loved my time at Milan, but now I have more time to win trophies at Newcastle.”
He also mentioned how he would like to stay in Newcastle for another 4 or 5 years ,, just to learn the language,,, he also said how he and his fiancé love Newcastle , the city, the fans, the team and the area..
What did you expect him to say in the official media channel interview? But hey, we can wait for another 3, 4 or years.
Newcastle are a vile terrorist club it’s a shame he’s there.
Disgusting but not surprising that these hopeless yank owners sold him.
According to dictionaries, terrorists are those who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims. By this definition, we can safely say that the yanks and their allies are the biggest terrorist organization in the world
This.
LOL. Well said. This is the world we’re living in these days.
How can you say something so controversial yet so true.
Where was the all the other clubs when he was banned??
Nufc still supported him and paid him a salary to live and put food on his table
People only know you when you successful…
when you down and out everyone disappears!
I think he comes back to Milan but selling him was stupid in the first place even if he did get banned for almost a season
Top player here to stay no ways back home for now
