Tonali praises Milan fans and makes clear ‘there is only one goal’ against Bologna

By Isak Möller -

Ahead of tonight’s clash between AC Milan and Bologna, Sandro Tonali spoke to the media about the situation. The midfielder is back in the starting XI after getting some rest last time out.

Milan are currently level on points with Napoli, who are ahead on goal difference, but the Rossoneri can restore their three-point cushion tonight. The game will be a very important one, therefore, and around 70k fans are expected at San Siro.

As said, Tonali spoke to MilanTV (via MilanNews) and shared his thoughts on Milan’s task this evening. He praised the fans for the support and also made clear that all of the players are in good condition for this game.

How are you physically and psychologically?

“We are all fine, we are all 100%. We have to enter the field knowing that there is only one goal [to win].”

What game awaits you?

“A different game because we all know that these last few games are all different, there are no more bonuses that we have had during the year. Today we enter the field to win, the only thing we want to do.”

Today at San Siro there will be almost 70,000 fans…

“We are proud of this because it means that we are doing well. We know that the fans are on our side.”

Kick-off is set for 20.45 CEST and given the high attendance, it should be a great atmosphere underneath the floodlights at San Siro. Hopefully, Milan will come away with all three points and make their fans happy.

  1. Just remember..

The goal of the season is UCL qualification and we are very close to securing that. The Scudetto is great but it was not the goal for the season.

    Forza Milan!
