Tuttosport: AC Milan await key response in pursuit of Sassuolo starlet

By Isak Möller -

Following yet another disappointing season (although it hasn’t ended yet), AC Milan are heading for the umpteenth revolution this summer. As Ralf Rangnick is in pole for the managerial position, youth will be the key.

Based on the current squad, work is needed in all departments, although the attack is seen as a priority. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is destined to leave the club and thus work is underway to identify a replacement.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), we can expect to see more than one signing for the attack this summer. One of the Rossoneri’s targets is Gianluca Scamacca, owned by Sassuolo but currently on loan at Serie B side Ascoli.

The 21-year-old has attracted the interest of the Milan leadership and they are waiting to understand the valuation, which the Neroverdi are yet to reveal. Only then will they know how to proceed and start the negotiations, which most likely won’t be easy.
