Tuttosport: AC Milan tired of waiting on Ibrahimovic; Mandzukic plan in the works

By Isak Möller -

Having already presented an offer to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, AC Milan have been forced to wait. However, it has taken longer than expected, which has slightly annoyed the Rossoneri directors, who are now moving on other fronts.

As reported by today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), Milan can’t wait on the Swedish international forever, as a striker is needed in January. At least, Boban and Maldini are expecting a signal, positive or negative.

Per the newspaper, the feeling is that Ibrahimovic could drag out the negotiations, but Milan don’t have that time. Therefore, they are seriously evaluating the Mandzukic plan, although the 38-year-old remains the absolute priority.

Mandzukic is the plan B, but he isn’t a second choice. Juventus are willing to sell the Croatian, who is yet to make a decision on his future despite multiple offers. Furthermore, the Bianconeri wouldn’t ask for the moon in the negotiations, per the report.
