Tuttosport: Avoiding relegation not enough for Torino to keep star as Milan watch on

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been an extremely important player for Milan since his arrival last year, but he has also struggled with a few injuries. And for the future, of course, a long-term replacement is needed.

In order to be able to rest Ibrahimovic, the Rossoneri brought in 34-year-old Mario Mandzukic on an initial six-month deal. However, that still doesn’t solve the situation for the future, but Milan do have several names on their radar.

As Fabrizio Romano said during our podcast with him, the Rossoneri are keeping tabs on Andrea Belotti, who would love to play for the club. However, it depends on several factors and above all Ibrahimovic, who could decide to stay one more season.

According to Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com), Torino could struggle to keep their star striker as simply avoiding relegation and money won’t be enough. They need a new project, a stronger squad and new enthusiasm. Meanwhile, Milan are watching on.
