Tuttosport: Betis in pole position to sign attacking outcast – Milan want €10m

By Isak Möller -

Samu Castillejo is destined to leave Milan this summer and return to Spain, where several clubs have expressed their interest. However, it seems Real Betis are in pole position to sign the former Villarreal man.

The right-winger made 28 appearances for the Rossoneri this past season and bagged just one goal, as well as one assist. Obviously, that isn’t prolific enough and that is why Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are scanning the market.

Meanwhile, as reported by Tuttosport (via MilanLive), Real Betis are in pole position to secure Castillejo this summer. They finished 6th this past season and will thus play in the Europa League, while also in need of a right-winger.

The pöayer is open to this move but an agreement also has to be reached between the club. Milan would like to get around €10m from the sale but a loan with an option or obligation to buy shouldn’t be ruled out either.
