AC Milan are preparing for the youth revolution, which will be led by Ralf Rangnick from next season. In addition to identifying targets on the market, they will also have to bring in some directors.
As reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), Elliott have an ambitious plan for the club and intend to reset everything with the arrival of Rangnick. However, to start again, someone who knows Milan and Italian football will be needed.
During the meeting he had with CEO Ivan Gazidis, Rangnick stressed the importance of having – both in the technical and managerial staff – Italian figures who can help him in his work. Ariedo Braida could be one of them.
Most likely, Milan will probably need a man who can support Rangnick on the market: the German will lead the team from the bench and manage the sporting director, but he won’t be able to carry out the negotiations himself.
Therefore, Braida could become the sporting director. Among other things, it seems there is already a good understanding, on a professional level, between the former right arm of Adriano Galliani and Geoffrey Moncada, the current Milan scout leader.
In short, the chances of Braida returning to the club are more realistic today than they were a few months ago.
