Tuttosport: Cardinale probes Dybala signing for Milan amid recent negativity

By Isak Möller -

As Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are yet to renew, currently in talks with Elliott, RedBird’s Gerry Cardinale has already started to browse the market. Paulo Dybala has caught his attention, a report claims.

The situation at Milan is peculiar, to say the least, and a solution is needed fairly soon, otherwise the mercato could be a very disappointing one for the club. Heading into the new season like that would be detrimental.

Cardinale, the CEO of Milan’s new owners RedBird (closing in September), knows how valuable the signing of Dybala would be. Not just for the squad, but also to please the fans and paint a good picture for the future in the media.

Inter are still in talks with Dybala and his agent, with the commissions currently holding them back, but there is an opening for Milan. Cardinale is studying the signing, always with an eye on the budget, and perhaps the Rossoneri will snatch Dybala from Inter just like they did with Tonali.

  2. This new owners seem not to be ready for Milan…Its like they don’t have money, they should have left Elliott to continue with the team. Even free contract Milan can’t sign. What’s really happening with the new owners?

  3. guys come see lie blackbird don’t have money to spent why should those people always nouns abt the thing that they can’t afford it,just sign a new player we are waiting for you, that all

  4. As expected, new owners are total disaster!!! This is the last thing AC Milan needed now when we finally had one good season and won scudetto. The current project was very good and now this new owners are going to destroy everything just to extort money from the club and sell it again in a year or two. Gone are the days when people who really loved the club invested into it (Berlusconi). Everything after – is just pure suffering. One american owner was disaster, but now having two amrican owners is a total catastrophy!!! AC Milan is Italian club and it should be owned, managed and run by Italians!!!

    1. Yep,Cardinale does not know crap about Milan fans /soccer, and as you say Dybala. All of a sudden he sticks his nose in negotiations, Get M&M signed and let them handle it,before you screw up the whole mess.
