Milan have struggled with several absences this season and it has certainly had an effect on their form. However, things are looking better for Stefano Pioli and his staff, with just two players out with minor issues.
The players in question are Ismael Bennacer and Mario Mandzukic, who both got injured in the first leg against Red Star Belgrade. The former’s absence is a big blow, but it looks like both could be back very soon.
According to Tuttosport, as cited by MilanNews, a detail report of the duo’s condition will be available for the medical staff at the beginning of next week. It remains to be seen if they can return for Wednesday’s clash against Udinese.
Bennacer is working to regain the muscle’s elasticity in order to avoid further complications with the injury. Mandzukic, who arrived on a free transfer in January, is struggling with a minor muscle issue which is annoying him.
