Tuttosport: Juventus watch on as Milan and Calhanoglu are €3.5m apart in renewal talks

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Hakan Calhanoglu have continued talks over a new deal but the two parties remain far apart, a report claims.

Prior to last night’s game against Napoli, technical director Paolo Maldini confirmed that the Rossoneri’s desire is to try and agree a new deal for the playmaker, insisting that Calhanoglu is ‘calm’ despite the speculation swirling surrounding his future.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan and Calhanoglu’s entourage are still locked in talks but for the moment the parties are still quite distant.

The player’s agent Gordon Stipic has in fact asked for a salary of €7m net per season, while the club have put a figure on the table of exactly half.

The paper adds that Juventus are monitoring the situation, but the Bianconeri are not the only team to have set their sights on Milan’s number 10.
