Tuttosport: Kaio Jorge would occupy the remaining non-EU spot at Milan

By Isak Möller -

Milan are very interested in Santos star Kaio Jorge as the current strikers in the squad aren’t exactly getting any younger. However, there is one important aspect that the Rossoneri have to take into consideration.

As highlighted by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the 19-year-old would take the final non-EU slot at Milan. The other non-EU player in the squad is Fikayo Tomori, who is an English citizen but counts as non-EU due to Brexit.

The Rossoneri are currently considering whether to sign Kaio Jorge this summer or wait until his contract expires in December. In other words, they seem fine to give up their final non-EU slot in order to get the youngster.

To get him as early as this summer, Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews) reported earlier this morning that Milan could pay €10m. It wouldn’t just be to get him early but also to beat the fierce competition.
