Simon Kjaer recently extended his contract with AC Milan until 2024 and you can definitely say that he deserved it. Since he joined in January of 2020, he has been a key player for the Rossoneri both on and off the pitch.
In his interview following the renewal, he stated that he now wants to win with the club and this could perhaps be the season. Milan have collected 28 points after the first ten games and Napoli are only ahead on goal difference.
Indeed, it’s been an almost perfect start to the season for the Rossoneri and it all stems back to the January of 2020. The arrivals of Kjaer and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as Tuttosport highlight (via MilanNews), changed everything for the club.
The Swede is surely also eager to win something before ending his career, now 40-years-old. The two Scandinavians will have to lead the team this season and hope that they can go all the way in the league.
