Lucas Paqueta has been experiencing a negative time at AC Milan since his arrival one year and a half ago from Flamengo. The Brazilian midfielder never really managed to make a difference for the Rossoneri and for this reason he looks set to depart in the ongoing transfer market.
The 23-year-old does not have many suitors on the current market, given the difficult situation for clubs in the post-coronavirus era. However, Lyon is at the window and seem to be the most interested club at the moment, as reported by Sky Sport several days ago.
And despite recent denials from Lyon’s president Jean-Michel Aulas on Twitter, rumours are still circulating about the French club’s interest in the former Flamengo man.
As reported by Tuttosport (via milannews.it), the interest is concrete, but first Lyon will have to sell one between Depay and Reine-Adelaïde, two important players for the team but who could guarantee the necessary liquidity to invest in Paqueta. Milan demand 23 million euros for the midfielder so as not register a loss on the balance sheet.
