Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, after what was a slightly uncertain period, will stay at AC Milan under the ownership of RedBird Capital. In fact, the meeting with Gerry Cardinale was very positive.
The CEO of RedBird, Cardinale, was in Milano earlier this week to close the takeover of Milan. He also had a meeting with both Maldini and Massara to discuss the project he has in mind, the outcome of which was positive as per Tuttosport (via MilanNews).
Indeed, although the renewals haven’t been signed, it’s now certain that the two directors will stay at the club. They are currently on vacation with their wives in Ibiza and once they have returned, the matter will be dealt with.
In the meantime, work is being carried out on the market and another Ibiza-blitz shouldn’t be ruled out. As the newspaper concludes, Cardinale has decided to give Maldini and Massara a lot of freedom on the market, trusting their judgement.
