Tuttosport: When Messias, Origi and Rebic could be back at Milan’s disposal

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are struggling with quite a few injuries at the moment, especially in the attack, and this is far from ideal for Stefano Pioli. Fortunately, a trio is aiming to be back at his disposal very soon.

Junior Messias, Divock Origi and Ante Rebic are all struggling with minor injuries and have been working separately at Milanello recently. It has made the situation strenuous in attack, with just Olivier Giroud available for the centre-forward role.

Fortunately, as reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), all three of them are aiming to be back at Pioli’s disposal for the Coppa Italia clash on Wednesday next week. While that is the aim, all three might not make it back but at least 1-2.

Milan will face Torino in the Round of 16 and given the tight schedule, Pioli is expected to make some rotation for that game. Charles De Ketelaere is poised to start, either as the No.10 or up front to offload Giroud.
