Tuttosport: Milan hit stalemate in talks as Chelsea stand firm on €30m demands

In addition to Sandro Tonali, Milan are looking to bring in another midfielder. Tiemoue Bakayoko has been heavily linked with a return to the club in the last few weeks, but the negotiations have now hit a stalemate, a report claims.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), Milan and Chelsea are both very stubborn in the negotiations, which has resulted in the stalemate. The English side want the buy-out option to be valued at €30m, which you could argue is a bit high.

Meanwhile, Milan are only willing to go as high as €25m for the Frenchman, who played for them on loan during the 2018/19 season. The negotiations are still alive and the chances of reaching an agreement on the deal haven’t vanished.

The Rossoneri are in no hurry to complete the signing, testing Chelsea’s patience as they could opt for other alternatives instead. It remains to be seen how the saga will end and some updates should emerge soon.
