Tuttosport: Milan interested as Torino midfielder could leave in cut-price deal

By Isak Möller -

Milan are looking to bolster their squad with at least one midfielder this summer, as Soualiho Meite has returned to Torino. The Rossoneri could seemingly turn to the Turin side once again, but not for the Frenchman.

Daniele Baselli, now 29-years-old, is the latest name to be linked with Milan although he has been on their radar for many years now. His contract will expire in 2022 and as reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), he could leave this summer.

He played just three games from start this past season due to an injury and could be looking to start fresh somewhere else. Due to the contractual situation, he could also leave Torino in a cut-price deal.

In addition to Milan, who might decide to make an offer for the midfielder, Lazio are also involved. Baselli could perhaps get more playing time for the latter but featuring in the Champions League must be more enticing.
