Tuttosport: Milan ponder signings of Sevilla and Anderlecht duo for combined €5m

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still pondering whether to complete the permanent signings of two of their January loan recruits, according to a report.

The Rossoner welcomed Denmark international Simon Kjaer to the club during the January transfer window, with the centre-back having had an unsuccessful first few months of the season with Atalanta.

He has largely impressed after being given opportunities instantly, and a number of sources have claimed that Milan will look to exercise their option to buy on the 31-year-old.

Meanwhile, right-sided midfielder Alexis Saelemaekers also joined in the most recent window on a €3.5m paid loan from Anderlecht, again with an option to buy.

According to the latest from Tuttosport (via MilanNews), there is a ‘good chance’ that Milan use their €1.5m option on Kjaer and sign him permanently once his loan expires.

However the club are still pondering what to do with Saelemaekers, who has made just three appearances and would cost €3.5m to buy outright from the Belgian side.
