This morning’s edition of Tuttosport has spoken about various contract renewals that the AC Milan management have to weigh up, which applies to Olivier Giroud and Simon Kjaer too.
The paper (via PianetaMilan) talks about their situation. At the moment there are no signs of open negotiations with the two veterans of the squad over extending their deals, which expire at the end of the season.
With both of them, Milan will sit at the table towards the end of the season to discuss what they can give to the cause in the future, with the Frenchman a candidate for an Ibrahimovic-like role.
Giroud continues to be an important contributor to this Milan side but he is now 37 years of age and thus expecting him to keep playing so many minutes is unfair.
Kjaer, meanwhile, has also played a key role in the club’s resurgence but has battled a fair few physical problems more recently.
