Tuttosport: Milan ready to fly with ‘golden couple’ as Bennacer and Kessie reunite

By Isak Möller -

Throughout the season, Milan have struggled with several injuries and have rarely been able to field their best XI on the pitch. For tomorrow’s clash, though, Stefano Pioli will have almost all of his key players available.

After almost two months and eleven games, as highlighted by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer will start a game together again, the golden couple.  One of the best, if not the best, midfield tandems in the whole league.

The two have done tremendously well and are a big reason behind Milan’s success this season. With them on the pitch from start, as the paper continues, the Rossoneri have never lost: 7 games in the league (4W, 3D) and 3 in Europa League (2W, 1D).

The last time that Pioli was able to count on the two together was on December 13, when the Rossoneri drew against Parma. Bennacer got injured in that game, but now he’s ready to take the pitch once again, hoping for a win to start things up.
