Tuttosport: Milan could sell Rebic and invest in De Ketelaere – the figures

By Isak Möller -

In the last few weeks, a few names have been linked heavily with AC Milan and Charles De Ketelaere is certainly one of them. His price tag is quite high, though, which could result in a few sales.

Milan are very keen on the Belgian youngster who would bring a lot of creativity to the attack, which is something they somewhat lacked this past season. The 21-year-old found the back of the net 14 times and assisted 7 goals for Club Brugge, impressing everyone.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), De Ketelaere has a price tag of around €40m and it’s possible that Milan could try to sign Noa Lang in a larger package deal. It could give them a slight discount, but there is also another option for the Rossoneri.

Ante Rebic struggled this past season, mainly due to injuries, and he could be sacrificed this summer. Should an interesting offer arrive – of around €15m – then Milan could sell him and invest in De Ketelaere for the attack. It remains to be seen what will happen.

  1. Rebic has had his injuries this season but If this is true it’s kind of sad. Rebic is a great player who has turned many games around for us. Sell someone else to help fund the transfer and give rebic another chance

    1. I love the energy and running Rebic brings with him on to the pitch (in a more efficient way than e.g. Saelamaekers who just runs like a headless chicken – Rebic has a purpose). He’s not the ones to give up easily. I hope he stays.

  2. Why not sell Saelemakers? Because nobody wants a player like this… instead selling Rebic is not a good idea. Beyond his injuries he is a real threat when playing
