Tuttosport: Milan’s plan for Donnarumma outlined as parties reach agreement in principle

By Isak Möller -

In recent months, the future of Gigio Donnarumma has been a hot topic in the media, especially in the newspapers. The goalkeeper’s current deal will expire in 2021 and AC Milan are thus working on a contract renewal.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), taking stock of the situation, there will be a meeting between Milan and agent Mino Raiola in the coming weeks. They will discuss the renewal of Donnarumma, who wants to stay at the club.

In fact, the parties have already reached an agreement in principle for the renewal, which should be a three-year deal. There will be a slight reduction to the fixed part of his salary, currently at €6m per year, but this will be compensated with bonuses.

In the meantime, Donnarumma and his teammates are gearing up to face Bologna this evening. The Rossoneri have done very well since the league was resumed, now just four points off a top-five finish with five games to go.
