Tuttosport: Price tag of Milan target has decreased to just €25m – Torino’s desperate attempt

By Isak Möller -

Milan are looking for a striker that can be their No.1 for the future, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic probably will play just one more season with the team. One of their targets is available for cheap, per a report.

According to Tuttosport, as cited by MilanNews, one of the names that the Rossoneri are keeping tabs on is Andrea Belotti. The striker’s contract will expire in 2022 and Torino are desperately trying to renew his contract.

As things stand, he has a price tag of just €20-25m but it could increase if a renewal is signed (to roughly €40-45m). The idea of Torino is to propose a new deal with a clause that would allow him to leave (for a reasonable amount), should they not qualify for Europa next season.

This appears to be a desperate attempt of the Turin side as they really want to keep their captain, who has been let down in recent years with broken promises. It remains to be seen if Belotti will decide to finally leave the team for a bigger side.
