The Croatian international travelled with the team for tonight’s game against Lecce. However, he might not even be on the bench as he isn’t ready just yet, as reported by today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews).
The goal of the medical staff is to recover him for the Supercoppa Italiana final against Inter on Wednesday. The game will be played in Saudi Arabia and it would be an important win for the Rossoneri confidence-wise.
Rebic, meanwhile, has a point to prove himself after receiving a lot of criticism this season. He has simply been too inconsistent and various injuries haven’t made life easer for the former Eintracht Frankfurt man.
