Winger Ante Rebic could leave AC Milan in January if his lack of playing time under Stefano Pioli continues, a report claims.
The Croatia international arrived on deadline day on a two-year loan deal from Eintracht Frankfurt side after the Rossoneri had spent most of the summer chasing Atletico Madrid’s Angel Correa.
Eintracht board member Wolfgang Steubing hit out at Rebic last month for his decision to leave in the summer, stating that he is ‘losing his gamble’.
The paper claims that the 26-year-old could leave Milan in January, just four months after arriving at the club, if he does not get more playing time soon.
A lot could hinge on Sunday’s game against Lazio with Suso out injured. If Samu Castillejo is preferred to Rebic as the right-winger, he may have serious reflections.
