Tuttosport: Spurs serious about Milan target as Torino director will fly to London

By Isak Möller -

Gleison Bremer is a sought-after player on the market and AC Milan are one of the teams interested. Just like for Sven Botman, however, they are facing tough competition from a Premier League team.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want to bring in a centre-back this summer to replace Alessio Romagnoli, who’s expected to leave at the end of the month. Several targets have been identified, including Botman and Bremer.

Milan have seemingly turned to the Brazilian amid the competition of Newcastle for the Dutchman, but once again there is a roadblock. According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Tottenham are keen on Bremer and Torino’s sporting director will fly to London in the coming days to discuss the matter.

Bremer still prefers a move to Inter, per the report, but the Nerazzurri obviously cannot offer as much as Tottenham and their financial situation is making things complicated. Milan also cannot match the economic strength of Spurs, but they can put a relatively high offer on the table without the need to sell anyone.

  1. What happened to 25M LOL….like I said before I highly doubt we are getting Bremer or Botman unfortunately. Once Tottenham and Newcastle jumped in we were done. We cannot compete with EPL teams and their $$$.

    1. Mate football is dead, just accept it. Every good player now, before you have scouted the PL teams see him and you are out of the race. You can no longer buy players who are good bc they will go to the PL, football is shit now, you can only really scout good but the PL money is more and more painful. People will probably laugh at us And Inter if we miss out on him, but it’s the hard reality sadly
