AC Milan have as many as eight young talents in their crosshairs ahead of another summer of revolution, according to a report.
Tuttosport are reporting on Wednesday (via MilanLive) that in addition to Ralf Rangnick having a set budget already agreed, there is a list of reinforcements also prepared to try and improve the Rossoneri squad.
The base will obviously be players under 25, but at the same time there is no total closure to players above this age. On the contrary: it all depends on the value for money both in terms of transfer fee and salary.
The list of names mentioned is as follows: Sandro Tonali from Brescia, Samuele Ricci from Empoli, Teun Koopmeiners from AZ Alkmaar and Florentino Luis from Benfica.
In addition to those four, the paper claims that Noussair Mazraoui from Ajax, Dominik Szoboszlai from Salzburg, Gianluca Scamacca from Ascoli (Sassuolo-owned) and Jonathan David from Gent are all also targets.
Capital gains will be fundamental at the base of the entire market for Milan moving forward. Not only because half of the proceeds from sales will be added to the allocated budget, but also to clear the red balance sheets.
Therefore, it would not be surprising if Milan were to try to make a big surplus even reluctantly, the report claims, and in this sense the name of Gianluigi Donnarumma remains the only one to guarantee such an opportunity.
