There are two possibilities for Ralf Rangnick regarding his potential role at AC Milan should he arrive this summer, a report claims.
There are conflicting reports in the media regarding Rangnick and whether or not he will start a new adventure in Italy ahead of next season, with some outlets claiming he will take over as head coach and sporting director of the Rossoneri.
Tuttosport claimed on Thursday that in the past few days there have been further contacts between CEO Ivan Gazidis and the German during which the former reassured the latter regarding the transfer budget available.
Meanwhile both Sky Italia and Gianluca Di Marzio confirmed the presence of an agreement since December, but with the current uncertainties surrounding Italy as a country and Milan as a club, everything is on hold.
According to Tuttosport on Friday (via MilanNews), there are two possible scenarios: if the season ends in the summer, the 61-yer-old will take on the role of technical director and therefore head of the market, with Stefano Pioli remaining on the bench.
However, if the season should end earlier or be permanently suspended, then the former RB Leipzig boss would play the dual role of head coach and sporting director.
