Tuttosport: Why Milan have decided to put talks for Donnarumma’s renewal on hold

In addition to the renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, AC Milan also have to deal with the contract of Gigio Donnarumma. The goalkeeper, one of the best in the world, could leave for free next summer if a new deal isn’t signed.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport, as cited by MilanNews.it, the negotiations between Mino Raiola and Milan – regarding Donnarumma – will be resumed after the transfer window, which will close in early October.

The negotiations aren’t considered a priority for the Rossoneri management, seeing as they already are at an advanced stage. Donnarumma wants to stay at the club and the common will is to reach an agreement, which shouldn’t be a problem.

A release clause could be included in the new deal, which would have a commission in favour of Mino Raiola. The negotiations will also include the extension of Gigio’s brother Antonio, who thus looks set to remain, as the newspaper concludes.
