There are several strikers being linked with AC Milan, and with the Italianisation of the club, Lorenzo Lucca is an easy target.

Around €50 million has been allocated to the striker position by the Milan management this summer. The reasoning? Simply that the Rossoneri need quality to contest Santiago Gimenez, Massimiliano Allegri demands as much.

A number of different names have been listed as a target, but it seems the leading options now are Aleksandar Mitrovic and Mateo Retegui, whilst Dusan Vlahovic also lingers. All are of the mould of the Olivier Giroud-type of striker, whilst Lucca is slightly different.

‘A lot of interest in him’

Movement, if it is to happen, will need to be done by Milan shortly, with Franco Collavino, an Udinese director, stating that things may happen in the next few days. Today, he spoke to Sky Sport, as relayed by MilanNews, about the situation of the striker and his future with interest present.

“We are talking about a great talent, an Italian player who had an important season in his first year in Serie A. Lucca scored double figures with us, and he is also one of the regular players called up by the National team, which takes him into consideration regardless of one technical commissioner or another.

“Lorenzo can provide certainties for the present and has great prospects for the future. It is normal that there is a lot of interest in him in Italy and abroad. At the moment, some are more concrete than others, and we will see in the next few days what can happen.”

  1. Please don’t sign him because he scored double figures for only one season in Serie A. We need the one that has been scoring double figures regularly. Don’t make that mistake please

    1. Definitely, a striker who proved already that he’s able to score double digits on a regular basis. We are not looking for a player with potential, Jimenez is, we want certainty. With 50 million budget we cannot afford betting on strikers anymore

    1. @Woy, LMAO 🤣😂🤣
And you think that Napoli would be stupid and accept such a proposal?
You must be a great comedian in reality.

  2. Skip , he have bad attitude and there is no leadership in management or dressing room can fix him in ACM for now. It is better to find similar striker with good attitude like tammy last season ( team player , friendly and not angry being rotation player)

  3. They will be only interest about the player, but never materialize. Lucca doesn’t good enough bro. Only media bluff like they did about belotti. End up with loan obligation / free agent if they put unrealistic price at the player.

  4. With limited play time and god attitude+ several goals and assists, Milan should re negotiate Tammy. Either buy or loan again. It will be good addition
