Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s return to AC Milan is getting closer and the final details of his contract are being resolved, according to a report.
According to Antonio Vitiello in his latest column for MilanNews, Ibrahimovic’s contract is being finalised and six months after his retirement from football in front of a sold out San Siro he is about to return to Milan for a third spell.
An important note has arrived: the Swede will officially be a RedBird Capital employee and will work for Gerry Cardinale but he will have a role that will also be useful for the team and the players. The announcement is not far away, the journalist adds.
It aligns with what we reported earlier in the month, which is that Ibrahimovic’s role will be that of a ‘super consultant’ to president Cardinale, which is a hybrid between the roles of being a general director in the technical area and a commercial figure linked to RedBird.
