There were many assists to enjoy from a Milan perspective this past season. Rafael Leao’s pass to Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the derby comes to mind, but Davide Calabria came out on top with his ball against Cagliari.
On their social media channels, Milan carried out a ‘knockout phase’ with all the best assists of the season, putting them up against each other and letting the fans vote. Calabria got all the way to the final.

With his longball against Cagliari, which paved the way for Ibrahimovic to score, he won the award ‘Assist of the Season’ and it’s hard to argue against it.
