Watch: Gimenez shares first words after landing at Linate – “Let’s give our all”

AC Milan’s new striker Santiago Gimenez landed at Linate about 30 minutes ago and as captured by journalists, he had time to say a few words before leaving the airport.

Gimenez departed from Rotterdam earlier this evening and landed at Linate around 18:30 local time, leaving the airport in a car about 30 minutes later. Many journalists, and also some fans, were present to greet the Mexican striker.

As he rolled down the window, the journalists asked a few questions and the striker assured that he’s ‘happy’ to be at the club. Tomorrow, he will be in the stands for the Derby della Madonnina between Milan and Inter, which could be quite the experience.

“I’m happy. Greetings to the Milan fans, a big hug and many blessings. Let’s give our all,” he said.

It remains to be seen which shirt number Gimenez will opt for. Luka Jovic currently has No.9 but the No.7 has been made available as a result of Alvaro Morata’s departure. More updates on this front will surely arrive very soon.

  1. Santi let’s go!!!! Vamonos Cabron!

    So we wait for Felix!

wingers and CM for the summer, I guess…

Chukwueze and Okafor are just too average and RLC is plain out useless…

Hopefully, Gnoto, Alexis and Ricci for the summer!

    1. Good buy at wrong timing, there is no good atmosphere right now in the dressing room.
2-3 players who thinks they own or bigger than anyone in Milan needs to leave.

      1. Morata is getting kicked out. I don’t think that guy ever had the right attitude. Skilled player bad attitude.

As far as Leao and Theo… Something is happening.

  2. Thanks to the management for doing the right thing, even though slowly. Didn’t expect we would be able to get him in January. So glad that better quality is being added. I hope our wingers and midfielders will provide the service he needs. Welcome, Santi. Forza Milan!!!
