Watch: Kalulu makes incredible last-ditch recovery in 2v1 against Udinese

By Isak Möller -

Pierre Kalulu confirmed his defensive awareness in AC Milan’s 4-2 win against Udinese last night. In particular, he made an amazing last-ditch recovery in the first half of the clash.

The young Frenchman is the undisputed starter alongside Fikayo Tomori at the back and based on yesterday’s game, no one can question this. Udinese relied a lot on counter-attacks and this fit Kalulu perfectly.

In the 28th minute, after Milan had turned the game around, Kalulu denied Udinese what seemed almost like a certain goal as Gerard Deulofeu led a 2v1 against the defender. With the perfect timing, though, the youngster intercepted the ball.

  1. Kudos to Moncada for the gift of Kaluluu.

Guy keeps improving game after game.
Twill really be hard to see Kjaer regain his spot.

    All the same… Forza Milan.

  2. Kjaer has been out to long he is not in a rush to regain he’s spot. He needs time to get fit for the world cup and not face any setbacks. We will see him in a few games time, kalulu cant play all the time. Milan will play over 20 games from now until november.
