Watch: Lovely angle of Milan’s winner vs. Udinese as duo celebrate with Maignan

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan scored the winner against Udinese in the 93rd minute, with Noah Okafor providing the finish. After coming back from 2-1 behind, the Rossoneri were naturally ecstatic when the ball hit the back of the net.

Despite the win, it was a tough evening for Milan as the game was forced to be halted due to racist chants directed at Mike Maignan. The Rossoneri had just taken the lead and were clearly affected by the interruption, with Udinese scoring shortly thereafter.

Even after conceding a second goal, though, Stefano Pioli’s men did not give up and this desire paid off. Noah Okafor scored the winner in the 93rd minute, following Luka Jovic’s equaliser, and Serie A has now published a great angle of the goal.

Alessandro Florenzi, who took the corner, and Yacine Adli ran straight to Maignan to celebrate the goal. On his Instagram, the goalkeeper published a long message about the abuse he had to withstand, thanking his teammates for the support throughout the game.

It was the result of disgraceful scenes, but Saturday’s win will certainly help boost Milan’s confidence ahead of what is an important run of games. Bologna are up next weekend and after four consecutive league wins, the Rossoneri will be looking to make it five.

  1. I love this team. Giroud, Kjaer and Florenzi should stay another season until we have more leader other than Maignan in the team.
