Watch: Milan loanee Colombo bags a goal and an assist in Lecce’s 2-0 win

Lorenzo Colombo has been on fire lately and he continued his good form this evening, playing from start in Lecce’s clash against Sampdoria. He bagged a goal and an assist in spectacular fashion.

Colombo almost made the cut for Milan’s first team in the summer but they decided to send him out on loan for playing time. After a period of acclimatisation, the 20-year-old has now really found his stride.

In the last three games, including tonight’s, Colombo has bagged two goals and two assists. His goal this evening came after a clinical strike but the assist was even better, setting his teammate up with a backheel pass (see both below).

  1. This guy’s power in his shot is unreal. Reminds me of Sheva. Man I’m liking his progress but Lecce has an option to make it a permanent deal (although we do have a buy back clause).

    1. If he wasn’t loaned out he wasn’t going to play, and he won’t be ready. He’ll still behind Giroud, Origi, and Rebic.

Ppl think that he is so good so he scored after playing regularly for Lecce, but no. He is getting good right now BECAUSE he is playing regularly for Lecce. He won’t get that if he stay at Milan.

      1. I guess we’ll never know. Giroud is knackered, Ibra is injured and Origi is sh*t (so far). Even Lazetic came on the other day we were so desperate.

  2. One more striker who will never again play in the Rossoneri shirt. Unfortunately. Inzaghi is and will be the last good Italian striker in Milan. Why? Because foreigners are cheaper and players coming from Milan academy means income for the club when they’re sold. That’s why.
