Watch: Milan Women celebrate first ever win at Juventus after great display

By Isak Möller -

There have been many ups and downs for AC Milan Women over the last few months. The head coach, Maurizio Ganz, has been heavily criticised but succeeded today as the Rossonere beat Juventus away from home.

It’s the Rossonere’s first-ever win away at Juventus and that says a lot about the magnitude of this win. Martina Piemonte opened the scoring just before the break as Milan were awarded a penalty, which she converted calmly.

Juventus received a red card as a result of the penalty and this allowed Milan to double their lead in the 75h minute through Lindsey Thomas. The home side pulled one back in the dying minute but it wasn’t enough and Ganz’s side thus won.
