Stefano Pioli was understandably in a good mood during his post-match press conference last night, following AC Milan’s 2-1 win over Roma. When the closure of the transfer window was mentioned, he celebrated.
The transfer window closed 45 minutes prior to Milan’s game against Roma and the Rossoneri announced Luka Jovic just 20 minutes before the clash. Pioli was fully focused on the game, though, and came out victorious.
During the press conference after the game, Sky Italia’s Peppe Di Stefano was asking a question and mentioned that ‘the mercato is over’. He didn’t have time to finish his question before Pioli raised his arms, celebrating that fact.

The manager has received a lot of questions regarding the mercato and is probably relieved that he can focus on talking about the games.
Pioli: I manage to keep Krunic 🤗
Hahaha 😂
Ppl starting to come around on the boy. Finally!
Oh my god that was my exact same reaction!
Maybe he hated the mercato as much as me!
