Stefano Pioli hosted a press conference earlier this afternoon as AC Milan began their pre-season earlier today. Among other things, he was asked about the targets on the market, including Hakim Ziyech.
The Chelsea winger has been heavily linked with Milan over the last few days and it seems the links are concrete. Yesterday, Fabrizio Romano stated that Ziyech is happy to join the Rossoneri and that the English side are open to the exit.
During today’s press conference, Milan manager Stefano Pioli provided a telling smile when asked about Ziyech (see video below): “I don’t know (laughs). Messias had a good season. The management will do their best.”
