Watch: Tonali bags two assists for Italy’s U21 side as he continues to shine

By Isak Möller -

Lorenzo Colombo and Sandro Tonali both featured Italy’s U21 side this evening as they took on Bosnia in the Euro qualifiers. While the former did well, the latter was even more successful.

Tonali, who is the captain of the side, was deemed too important for the side and thus wasn’t called up to the first team of Italy. And he responded with another great performance, registering two assists this evening.

Both of them came from corners and we have certainly seen some of that good delivery at Milan this season. Italy eventually won the game 2-1. Take a look at both assists below.

  1. What the f is he doing with U-21?! He is almost good enough to start in the first team. Damn i really really hate Mancini. He is blind towards Milanplayers.

    1. You don’t read any news don’t you? Mancini wanted Tonali for his team, but Italy u21 coach personally asked Mancini to take him for u21,as they need Tonali more (he is u21 captain).

Mancini have done a lot of things that not in Milan’s favor, but for this one he is blameless.

  2. If you followed the Azzurri you would know that he was supposed to get called up but nicolato asked Mancini not too cause he was important for the u21 qualifiers… Mancini knows quality players tonali and Calabria will start soon enough as long as they keep their current form!!!
