Mike Maignan’s interview with DAZN had to be cut short last night, as confirmed by the club and the TV channel, but the timing was rather unfortunate as the goalkeeper had just been asked about his AC Milan renewal.
It hasn’t been the best of weeks for Mike Maignan, responsible for a howler against Feyenoord, and yesterday’s performance wasn’t very convincing either. Nonetheless, Milan know his qualities and are working on a renewal, as confirmed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic last night.
After the game, when he was speaking to DAZN, Maignan was asked about the renewal with Milan but left the interview before an answer could be provided. It looked strange for those who were watching, and the timing was certainly interesting, but there was a logical reason for it.
As confirmed by the club as well as the TV channel, Maignan had already left the interview prior to the journalist asking the question. This is because he couldn’t hear anything due to a technical issue, prompting Milan’s Communications Manager and DAZN to end the interview, unbeknownst to the journalist up in the stands.
In short, there was no controversy involved and Maignan appears keen on staying at Milan, seeing as the negotiations are at an advanced stage.

How the f*ck this club, even the fan expecting 100% from their important players if their wage is pressed and pressed till it shape like pizza?
Because even if the player believes they aren’t being paid enough, you’re always paying for your next paycheck. In other words, if you keep turning in bad performances, it is unlikely other teams are going to be keen on showering you with cash.
Yeah lets pitty some millionaires who earns more in a year than most people can ever dream of to earn in their entire life. It’s the common man who by subscribing to increasingly more expensive tv subscriptions and attending to increasingly more expensive matches and buying gear is paying the players wages but sure lets squeeze more bucks out of those who has less to make some already overpaid people more happy.
If anything modern day players should be paid less than what they earn and the common worker more.
They don’t have 40years of career like you. Hardly there 10/15years career, if you don’t earn well then you are gone.

You think that is an excuse, seriously ? They can have a career afterwards and a lot of them continue in the sports or becomes tv pundits or seek a different line of work. Besides of that a great deal of them is attending education while at a young age. In fact its pretty customary that clubs want their youngsters to do exactly that
