AC Milan 2-2 Fiorentina: Follow the action with our live commentary

AC Milan are up against Fiorentina this evening and with a position to improve in the Serie A standings, they need all three points. You can follow the action at San Siro with our live commentary.

The Rossoneri are currently in 9th place and Fiorentina, tonight’s opponents, are four points ahead in 9th place. Most likely, a win will be needed tonight to improve the position between now and the end of the season.

Sergio Conceicao has made two changes to the starting XI for this one, bringing Fikayo Tomori back in action, while Yunus Musah is also starting in midfield. Tammy Abraham will also be looking to put in another good performance up front.

You can follow the action with our live commentary below, as published on our X account. There will be no watchalong for this game, unfortunately, as Stefano had to cancel at the last minute. The boys will be back soon, though.

  1. Musah is not even a serie b player and we play him in our starting lineup week in week out. Mind boggling stuff

  2. I hope Red bird is watching their masterpiece at work, dismantling the scudetto winning team and bringing in likes of Musah

  3. Musahh, nice watching the ball rolled away as an opportunity in front of the goal.

He was just running, but didn’t react at all. 😉

  4. The last time milan look this was before pioli, why let him go if you can’t replace him? One season without pioli banter era.

  5. How many times this season have we seen substitution made in first 20 minutes of play due to underperforming? It’s happening like every second match and it only shows that not only is this team garbage, this coach is also clueless with setting up his first 11.

    Gerry and The RedTurds👏

  6. First Musah, then Theo doing his usual no man’s land wandering. I’d be happy to see both moved on.

    1. you blame only Theo for this? why cant two CBs not cover one striker who is just waiting in front of the goal?

      1. Did you see how he later preferred to argue with Dodo while the ball was still live? Like Fiorentina players running into his space and he’s off having a hissy fit with Dodo. LOL. Dude does not give two fvcks.

      2. Oh and the silly yellow collected for his efforts, which means yet again another chance at a dismissal and inching closer to a yellow card suspension. Yay.

  7. The last time milan look this was before pioli, why let him go if you can’t replace him? One season without pioli banter era all over again.

    1. The sad part is we where looking for change but both managers after Pioli have been trying to copy Pioli and do the same things. Atleast try to do something different when its not working

  8. Coach is confused..the players play as if they have not been training together with stupid mistake from so call professional players

  9. Bruh sorry but the coach is clueless as hell. There are no clear tactics it’s like pass the bass sideways and our midfield is emptier than Sahara. Idk if it’s the team or what but we somehow managed to degrade even from Fonseca and I give it props to him at least we played some good football under him not this garbage style of Conci. Musah is the first player I have ever seen to be subbed first in the 37th now in the 25th – twice in a season!!!! I will personally sit and calculate ho many points he cost us this season alone yet the coach still bets on him..

  10. Musah and Theo need to be sold in the summer.
Musah is useless and dumb. Theo has constant discipline problems, collects stupid yellows, and defends really poorly. Both have been detrimental to the team.

  11. A plead to the local milanistas get ready with your torches and pitchforks and take the demonstrations to the next level, nobody should feel safe at this point and especially the ownership and if the point isn’t going through stop buying season passes next season as that is at least a thing the ownership will understand. Hell if i lived in Milano I wouldn’t buy one. A few years ago I seriously considered immigrating to Italy from Denmark to follow the team closely and even looked a bit on appartments down there, how lucky I feel for not following through on that idea now.

      1. 😀 still am Ted 😛 just angry seeing this team showing up as they please. Milan fans needs to take a stance against this lethargic attitude our players are showcasing each and every match from the start of each match we play. We are better than that.
They are basically making a mockery of this club and its supporters and even gets paid for it on top of it. 2-2 wont change that vierw of mine and not even a win as it is generally an attitude problem. Always said we mismanaged Jovic by the way.

        1. I agree with you completely. But it usually goes from the top down and there are many issues in this club on different levels that needs to be addressed.

          1. Certainly not only the players that should be blamed that this club is turning in to a full blown circus act and personally I can hear the tune “Entrance of the Gladiators/international clown song” more often than not when watching this one time proud club. Incometent management and ownership should taste the anger as well.
3 years ago I had so much hope for us returning to were we belong those days now seems like a distant dream.

  12. Red Bird did stuff with buying players, players who are bad players doing their bad job, and cheap profile coaches get in combination with this set up to achieve this bad result.

All clubs goes for results, RedBird only for money and prosperity.
Well next year they gonna need money.

    Cheers

    1. As long as there’s a profit Gerry can pocket for him and his investors, we won’t see any big changes. He’ll do only so much to achieve that CL qualifications spot and that’s that. He wants a coach that will make an average team punch above its waist.

      1. Yes that’s full story. With that management he raised club value. Probably making spot in future to sell club high.

  13. Jovic has been completely useless since coming on. He doesn’t have a role. Musah should have come off for a midfielder or Chukwueze with Pulisic moving centrally. We’re basically playing with 10 men. Conceicao is clueless.

          1. That’s good, but:

            1. Fiorentina’s defence erred in letting the ball through;
            2. He was useless for the prior 30 min.

It doesn’t change the fact that I think Conceicao is clueless. Tinkering with the lineup every game, then has to make a sub during the first half, or halftime. Always having to come back. This is more about Conceico than Jovic in the end.

  14. Jovic showing for about 19th time that he makes the difference off the bench. Yet has been left to dry all season. Makes a positive difference anytime he’s brought in

  15. I just love it everytime Jović scores, because he does it in crucial moments. But above all, he shuts these clowns who extended him and then tried to force him out, down.

    Well done Luka.

  16. I hope we can keep Jovic, the dude never complains and always trying his best unlike the majority who doesnt give a f**k.

    1. He’s literally been dropping deep to link up the attack too, meanwhile Felix literally only exists to LOSE the ball every 3 minutes

  17. Bro if Theo f#*$ up one more counter attack, I’m gonna lose my mind. How are you making the wrong choice every time…

  18. 0-2 down before the 10th minute then scores two to equal the score and then goes down 2-3 what a bunch of clowns especially considering we could have scored more than we have done. sigh.

  19. This team objectives is to avoid losing, winning is not what they aiming for. Poor defence, and no covering at all from the midfielder. Look how poor our midfielder is, it’s fair to say I wish krunic is still with us

  20. I keep watching Milan games hoping that I see something that will impress me but at the end of every match I get disappointed and start wondering why I wasted my time watching this stupid game.
Players are passing instead of shooting and are shooting instead of passing.
    #Milan Is DEAD
