By Rösie Tudball -

AC Milan will meet with Mino Raiola imminently to discuss the future of goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

It is expected in the next few days that Milan owners will tell their desire to renew the contract of Donnarumma to his agent Raiola. The 18-year-old phenomenon’s contract with AC Milan expires at the end of the 17/18 season, and with heated interest from other clubs for the shot-stopper, contract negotiations are of course vital.

Following their takeover as owners of the club, Yonghong Li and the Rossoneri have voiced their priorities for the future of the club – extending Donnarumma’s contract being one.

It has been reported that the owners will meet with Raiola and Donnarumma’s parents to convince them that AC Milan can continue to be the club to take the ‘keeper to new levels.

Milan will of course be hoping that they can remain as the club of Donnarumma’s future, taking into account Raiola’s previous unwillingness to comment on his clients commitment to the club, when talks of a new contract were first raised.
