Agent urges ‘several teams’ interested to pounce on ‘great deal’ for Napoli defender

Elseid Hysaj’s contract with Napoli will expire at the end of the month and it doesn’t look like he will renew it. Therefore, his agent working on finding a new club for the full-back, with Milan mentioned as a possible destination.

The Rossoneri are looking for a right-back as Diogo Dalot has returned to Man Utd after a season-long loan with the club. Earlier this month, Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reported that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are monitoring the situation of Hysaj.

Speaking in an interview with Radio Marte, as cited by MilanNews, Hysaj’s agent Mario Giuffredi spoke about the situation and revealed that he’s working on a few potential solutions for his client.

“We are considering various solutions. I personally haven’t heard from Lazio yet, we continue to do our job by working on the solutions that exist. Then if Lazio come forward, so be it.

“It will be a great deal for the one who gets him. There are several teams interested. If a renewal with Napoli is possible? Absolutely not,” he stated.

It remains to be seen if Milan will make an attempt to sign the Albanian, but it seems they have other priorities for the full-back position. In fact, Dalot could return if an agreement can be reached with Man Utd on the transfer fee.
