CorSport: Not just Diaz as Milan could try to sign Real Madrid striker on loan

By Isak Möller -

Milan are evaluating their options for the attack ahead of next season, very close to bringing in Olivier Giroud on a free transfer from Chelsea. However, based on Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s condition, one more player might be needed.

Several names have been mentioned in the last few weeks but according to Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews), an old target has reappeared on their radar. The player in question is Luka Jovic, who has just returned to Real Madrid.

The Serbian spent the last six months on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt, where he scored four goals and assisted an additional two in 18 appearances. However, the German side decided not to redeem him and his future is thus up in the air again.

Milan could try to sign Jovic on a loan deal, perhaps with an option to buy included. It could be a last-minute opportunity for the club, as Real Madrid might hold off to see if any offers will arrive for a permanent move.

  1. Bring Filip Kostic and with Rebic you have a winning trio from Eintracht from a few years ago. They know each other, they play great together.

  2. We are not in the position to risk that much money on belotti, not that he is a bad player but we need a better winger and an attacking midfielder more than a striker.
Try to understand bro lots of money were spent for tomori, tonali, and Brahim Diaz. I believe in Maldini he did it for us last year. But I would agree with you if we are unable to sign a good winger or an attacking midfielder.
